IEEE PES HPSBCP 2024
Greetings from the IEEE PES Students and Young Professionals Committee.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by the
previously announced results of the IEEE PES High Performing Student
Branch Chapter Program (HPSBCP) 2023-2024. Due to an error in the final
scoring calculations, we have withdrawn the results announced via
e-notice on September 5th. The revised results have now been published,
and we kindly request you to view them here: https://pessyp.ieee.org/
Please note the following important updates:
-
The previous results released on September 5th are no longer valid and cannot be used for any fund transfers.
-
Only SBCs with 6 or more member retentions have been considered for additional funding.
-
The scoring for additional funding is based on the rubric available at https://ieee-pes.org/
membership-chapters/high- performing-student-branch- chapter-program/ -
Funding calculations vary by region based on local factors.
-
HPSBCP funding is not intended to rank student branch chapters. Whether your SBC received the highest or the lowest funding, it reflects your exceptional contribution based on your 2023 activities. We strongly discourage comparisons between chapters, and we encourage all of you to celebrate your recognition as exceptional SBCs.
Our goal is to ensure fairness for all SBCs, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to correct this error.
