It is our great pleasure to invite you to submit your paper to RFM 2025 which is sponsored by IEEE Malaysia Antennas and Propagation/ Microwave Theory and Technology/ Electromagnetic Compatibility Joint Chapter (IEEE Malaysia AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter). This conference series is intended to provide an international forum on research progress and developments in electromagnetic wave theory, microwave, millimeter wave and THz technology, wireless communication technology and related fields. Academics and practitioners working in the domain of applied electromagnetics are solicited to present latest research findings and best practices, share ideas, and initiate networking and collaboration.
All submissions will be peer-reviewed by an international panel of reviewers. Papers presented at the conference are considered for publication in IEEE Xplore Online Database and indexed in SCOPUS.

INFORMATION TO AUTHORS
The paper must be submitted electronically using the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF via the websites. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Paper length should be 2-4 pages of A4 sizes including all texts, figures, tables, references, and photographs. - Student Travel Grant Award
We are pleased to announce that the 2025 IEEE Malaysia AP/MTT/EMC Joint Chapter will be present the following three types of awards. The award candidates should be the first author and the presenter of the RFM2025. The selections of the awards are based on the quality, originality, and clarity of the paper and the presentation (except for travel grant award).
Best Paper Award
Candidates shall be presenters who make presentations in person at the RFM2025 (under regular category).
Papers are selected as “Best Paper Award” on the evaluation results of the submitted papers.
Student Best Paper Award
Candidates shall be student at the time of submitting the paper to ISAP2025 and first-author presenters who have presented in person at the RFM2025. Papers are selected as “Student Best Paper Award” based on evaluation results of the submitted papers.
Additional Information:
Finalists will be notified approximately one month before RFM2025 and are requested to attend the conference banquet.
The winners of each award will be officially announced during the conference banquet
Student Travel Grant Award
RFM2025 will be offering seven (7) student travel grants award, each valued at RM1,000/per student (Three (3) international students) and RM500/per student (Four (4) local students), to support student members attending and presenting their work at IEEE RFM2025, which will be held in Penang, Malaysia, from 17–19 September 2025.
These travel grants are intended to assist with travel-related expenses. Recipients will be able to claim the award during the conference upon providing valid documentation.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the travel grant, applicants must:
Provide a brief justification for the travel grant request (e.g., “insufficient university funding to cover accommodation or transportation”).
Be an active IEEE student member.
Have an accepted paper for presentation at IEEE RFM2025 (please include your paper ID and title).
