IEEE International Conference on Energy Technologies for Future Grids

The 2025 IEEE International Conference on Energy Technologies for Future Grids (ETFG 2025) (https://attend.ieee.org/etfg-2025/ will take place in Wollongong, Australia from 7–11 December 2025. This biennial event provides a dynamic platform for researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas and showcase innovations aimed at modernising energy systems and grid infrastructure. The conference is hosted by the ARC Training Centre in Energy Technologies for Future Grids  https://www.futuregrids.org/ at the University of Wollongong, in collaboration with government agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners.

The theme for ETFG 2025 is "Challenges, Solutions, and Opportunities for Industrial Transformation."

This is a hybrid conference, 100% financially sponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), with technical co-sponsorship from IEEE IES, PES, and PELS. All accepted and presented papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, subject to IEEE quality standards, and will also be considered for further review for publication in the IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications and the IEEE Industry Applications Magazine.

Important Information:

Paper Submission Close: 15 August 2025

Notification of Acceptance: 15 September 2025
