About BRAINCON 2027

BRAINCON 2027, the flagship international conference of Bharat Research in AI and NextGen Foundation (BRAIN), will be held from 22–24 January 2027 at Hoa Sen University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Themed “Frugal, Sovereign, Societal Scale AI and Agentic AI”, BRAINCON 2027 aims to spotlight the dual imperatives of the next AI revolution—building autonomous, intelligent, and collaborative agentic systems while ensuring resource-efficient, accessible, and sustainable AI innovation. This unique blend recognizes that the future of AI lies not only in autonomy and reasoning, but also in frugality, inclusivity, and democratization of technology.

BRAINCON has established itself as a premier global platform bringing together academia, industry, government, and professional bodies to exchange ideas, showcase cutting-edge research, and shape the responsible evolution of AI. The 2027 edition promises keynote sessions, technical paper presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and hackathons, fostering meaningful discussions and collaborations that will define the AI of tomorrow.

About Hoa Sen University (Our Venue Partner)

Entering our 35th anniversary (1991 – 2026), Hoa Sen University (HSU) reaffirms our vision for the future. Beyond educating high-quality human resources, we strive to develop a modern university model with a distinctive identity and strong capacity for continuous innovation in the rapidly evolving global higher education landscape. Our approach follows a three-level strategic framework that integrates the educational philosophy, university model, and governance and operational structure.

Within this framework, the “Human-centric • Self-directed • Utility-oriented” philosophy forms the foundation, centering people, empowering learners, and guiding knowledge toward practical value. Guided by this philosophy, HSU aims to build a liberal, applied, innovative, and smart university model, with a synchronized governance system that translates these principles into experiential learning for students’ career development.
