ICSPCRE-2026

 

Greetings from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite the submission of original and unpublished research contributions for presentation and publication at the 2^nd IEEE International Conference on Smart Power Control and Renewable Energy (ICSPCRE-2026), to be conducted in hybrid mode (online and in-person) from 4^th to 6^th Dec. 2026.

ICSPCRE-2026 aims to provide a distinguished forum for researchers, academicians, and industry practitioners to present and discuss state-of-the-art developments, emerging trends, and innovative solutions in the domains of smart power systems and renewable energy. The conference is jointly organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Rourkela and the IEEE Student Branch National Inst. of Tech-Rourkela, in association with IEEE Kolkata Section IA & PE Joint Societies Chapter – Rourkela, IEEE Kolkata Section IES Chapter-Rourkela, IEEE Rourkela Subsection, and IEEE Kolkata Section, with technical co-sponsorship from IEEE PES, IAS, and IES societies.

Objective of the Conference

The primary objective of ICSPCRE-2026 is to bring together academicians, researchers, and industry professionals on a common platform to exchange knowledge, share research outcomes, and enhance collaborative efforts in the domain of smart power control and renewable energy.

In the present era, electrical energy plays a pivotal role in achieving sustainable development through renewable energy integration, optimized energy utilization, and advancements in electric vehicle technologies. However, without effective coordination between power generation units, energy sources, and end-users, the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations cannot be achieved at a large scale.

This conference aims to provide a unified platform for energy, power electronics, and control engineers to exchange ideas, foster innovation, and contribute toward achieving the SDGs. The event is particularly beneficial for postgraduate research scholars, offering exposure to cutting-edge research and global expertise.

Paper Format:  

Papers must be prepared using the IEEE paper template using Microsoft Word or LaTeX. You may download the sample IEEE paper template: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Proceedings Publication: 

Accepted and presented papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, subject to IEEE review and quality requirements. ICSPCRE-2026 invites original and unpublished research papers of high quality in the following areas, including but not limited to:

 All the accepted and presented papers shall be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Selected 20% of the presented papers are eligible for further review to be published in the IEEE Industry Applications Society periodicals (IAS Transactions, Magazine).

Each registration is valid for one paper. With one registration, ONLY one additional paper will be considered after paying an extra 50%.
