We are pleased to invite researchers, academicians, and industry practitioners to submit research papers to the International Conference on Green Energy, Computing, and Sustainable Technology (GECOST 2027), which will be held virtually from 13–15 January 2027 in Miri, Malaysia. GECOST 2027 is organised by Curtin University Malaysia and technically sponsored by the IEEE Power and Energy Society Malaysia Chapter.
The conference serves as a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas, emerging research findings, and technological advancements in the areas of green energy, sustainable computing, smart technologies, and digital applications. The theme for this year’s conference is “Driving a Sustainable Future through Intelligent and Green Technologies”.
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to compliance with IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
Authors are invited to submit full papers presenting original research, recent developments, and innovative applications related to sustainable technologies and digital transformation across various disciplines. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
- Green Computing & Security
- Green Communications, Networks & Signal Processing
- Intelligent Embedded Systems & Analytics
- Green Energy, Power Systems & Smart Grid
- Sensors, green materials, alternative energy, and control process
IMPORTANT DATES
Full Paper Submission – 15 October 2026
Full Paper Acceptance – 30 October 2026
Early Bird Registration – 15 November 2026
Close Registration & Payment – 15 December 2026
Conference Date: 13-15 January 2027
SUBMISSION
Manuscripts must be prepared in IEEE conference format. The camera-ready version of an accepted paper should be between four (4) and five (5) pages in length. Authors may include up to two (2) additional pages, subject to an extra charge of USD 25 per additional page. The maximum allowable paper length, including additional pages, is seven (7) pages.

PUBLICATION
The proceedings of GECOST 2027 will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, subject to compliance with IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. Authors of selected outstanding papers may be invited to submit extended versions of their work to Scopus-indexed journals.
As part of our established track record, GECOST conferences were successfully organised in 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025.
